I call myself a virtual marketing director, an incredibly cost-effective alternative to an advertising or PR agency. As one point of contact, I orchestrate all facets of any complex (or simple) marketing strategy to bring a brand to life and get it to market. I've been doing this for companies large and small for all of my professional life (since 1996). Though most of that time, I was the "client," serving as the lead marketing executive for large to mid-sized companies, so I've been in your shoes.
Then in 2009, I had this hare-brained scheme to provide the same services on my own as an alternative to in-house staff or large advertising/PR agencies. Since I know the ins and outs of the biz and companies are trying to save cash, I knew I could deliver the services without a company having to hire expensive staff or a large agency. So far, it's working. Clients are happy, they're making money and they come back asking for more.
I graduated from Vanderbilt University with a degree in communication and psychology. So I know how people think and I like to think I can motivate people to believe in something.
